Do you do picture videos of us growing up?

Yes we do!  We can take your pictures and set them to music.  This service is becoming very popular.  Couples have used these videos during the reception, during the rehearsal dinner, and also have played their picture video while they are dismissing their guests at the ceremony.  What a great way to show your family and friends your story "before" you met!

Why shouldn't I just have my Uncle Fred shoot my video for free?

There's a good chance that your uncle Fred doesn't have all of the production equipment, editing software and experience to produce a high quality video.  Your weeding day only happens once, so make sure it is done right.  For example, we had one bride try to book us for her wedding day.  We were already booked.  So she had someone in the family shoot the wedding.  Afterwards she brought it to us for editing.  There wasn't much we could do.  The footage was terribly shaky (even with a tripod - it was probably a consumer tripod from Walmart or Best Buy), and the camera they used was not professional, so the video was very grainy and blurry.  So make sure you book early and get a professional to do your video rather than a relative.  Besides, how can your Uncle Fred enjoy your wedding if he has to lug a camera around?

How do we prepare for the wedding day?

At least one month before the wedding day, we will need to discuss with you what things you want video-taped, what you don't want video-taped, and so forth.  We will need to be present at your rehearsal to get acquainted with your setup and decide where to put our cameras.  Obviously, the placement of the camera can really make a difference in the quality of the video.  However, if you prefer the camera to be mostly out of sight to your guests, we can do that too.

How long are the finished videos?

Typically our videos will range from 45-90 minutes.  Don't assume that a longer video is a better video.  In fact, longer videos are typically more boring and you will tend to fast-forward through much of it.  We try to focus on what you and your family will want to see again and again.

How long will it take to finish the video?

This depends on how booked we are, and can range anywhere from 4-8 weeks.

How soon should you book your wedding video?

Popular summer months can fill up rather quickly.  It is common to book 6 months to a year in advance, but don't hesitate to call and check on availability!
